Sir David Frost death: Editor of Nixon interviews pays tribute

Tributes are being paid to veteran broadcaster Sir David Frost who has died at the age of 74 after a suspected heart attack while on board a cruise ship.

Internationally, he will be remembered for his revealing interviews with former US President Richard Nixon and the executive editor of those interviews, Bob Zelnick described Sir David as "someone you could go to for advice".

He said: "The fact that it drew practically universal praise was a tribute to David's hard work and very very tough attitude once the ball rang and the fight started."
