Oscar winner Mira Sorvino opens human trafficking art installation
A work of art, highlighting the plight of victims of human trafficking, has been unveiled by the Oscar-winning actress and UN goodwill ambassador Mira Sorvino.
The piece was commissioned by the UN to mark the launch of a special fund to help victims of the trade and went on display at Lancaster House in London.
The actress described it as powerful and disturbing, while the artist who created it, Edward Saperia, said he hoped people who saw the piece would be moved to do something about the brutal trade.
