Academy chain E-Act stripped of 10 schools

One of the largest chains of academies in England is to lose control of ten of its schools.

The Department for Education says the move was made after Ofsted inspectors raised "serious concerns" about the performance of some of the schools.

Officials are now trying to find new sponsors for the state-funded academies.
