New school curriculum not all about times tables, says NAHT

A revised national curriculum for schools in England has been announced, with the aim of catching up with the world's best education systems.

The changes will include fractions for five-year-olds and teaching evolution in primary schools.

Russell Hobby, General Secretary of the National Association of Head Teachers, said a good curriculum was not all about facts and times tables.
