University applications fall after fee rise
There has been a fall in applications from British students to start university this autumn.
Figures from the university admissions service, UCAS, show that the number fell by nearly 10% in England, where tuition fees will rise this year.
In Scotland, where Scottish students pay no fees, applications have fallen by 1.5%.
