Ed Balls on UK economy: 'Tough choices ahead'

Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls has warned that there will be "tough choices ahead" as the UK tries to balance its books, but vowed that a future Labour government would look to cut spending "in a fair way".

His comments came after Chancellor George Osborne said a further £25bn in spending cuts - much of it from the welfare budget - would be needed after the next election.
