Business lobby: Air capacity 'was needed yesterday'

Baroness Jo Valentine - the chief executive of business lobby London First - says increased airport capacity is essential if the UK is to compete globally.

The Airports Commission has short-listed new runways at Heathrow and Gatwick as options for expansion.

"Capacity was needed yesterday," she told BBC News. "There are winners and losers for any of these options... the essential thing is that the politicians actually do something."
