Business of Bale: 'Football exists in another universe'

Gareth Bale has become the world's most expensive footballer after Real Madrid paid Tottenham Hotspur £85m (100m euros) for the forward.

The 24-year-old Welshman has described the move as a "dream come true" after signing a six-year deal worth £300,000 per week.

The previous world record transfer of £80m was set in 2009 when Cristiano Ronaldo moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid.

BBC Sport Editor David Bond spoke to Radio 4's John Humphrys.
