Syrian conflict pushes up crude oil price

The growing possibility of military action by the US and its allies against Syria is continuing to push up crude prices.

US crude futures have touched their highest in two years, with West Texas Intermediate crude for October delivery up 3 percent at $112.24 - the highest it's been since May 2011.
