PWC reject competition criticisms

One of Britain's biggest accountancy firms, PWC, has rejected claims that they may have too cosy a relationship with the companies they audit.

The Competition Commission said that Ernst & Young, Deloitte, KPMG and PWC were too dominant and that companies tended not to change their auditors.

PWC's Richard Sexton told BBC News that they serve shareholders and the Competition Commission had underestimated the scrutiny they are under.
