CBI boss Sir Richard Lambert critical of coalition growth plans
The departing head of the CBI, the country's biggest business group, has accused the government of following economic policies that could damage companies and job prospects.
In his last major speech as Director General of the CBI, Sir Richard Lambert said ministers had followed policies for political reasons, careless of their effect on business.
But he said he supported the coalition's approach to spending cuts.
The BBC's Nick Robinson reports.
