Impact of fuel price rise on rural life

Motorists are feeling the pain of record fuel prices at the start of 2011 with some petrol stations charging £1.30 per litre of petrol.

It follows a rise in VAT and fuel duty which came into force in the last week.

The BBC's Jeremy Cooke reports from North Yorkshire on the likely impact of fuel price increases on people living in rural areas.
