Ryanair boss on 'ludicrous' airport security measures
The chief executive of the budget airline Ryanair, Michael O'Leary, says he believes certain airport checks that require passengers to dispose of 100ml bottles and take their shoes off have "no effect on security whatsoever".
Mr O'Leary told the BBC that he believed people had lost all common sense and perspective, arguing that UK passengers were the "most protected, in the world", and that the only security measures that should be re-evaluated should be those for cargo planes.
