Graphic novels are finding new markets in India.

A novel based on the Emergency of 1975, a pivotal moment in India's journey towards full democracy, is due to be published.

The BBC's Shilpa Kannan spoke to Karthika VK, publisher and chief editor at HarperCollins India. She asked her to explain the difference between a comic and a graphic novel.
