UK floods: 'Wettest January since records began' for many

This year has seen the wettest January in many parts of the country for more than a century, figures show.

The Met Office says some parts of England had already seen twice the average rainfall for January by midnight on Tuesday, and more rain is forecast.

In Somerset, the military remains on standby to help flooded areas.
