Will Ukraine trade deal help small businesses

27 June 2014 Last updated at 08:12 BST

Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko is due to sign a political and trade accord with the European Union.

The Association Agreement - as it is known - will open up European and Ukrainian markets to each other over the next decade - and see Ukraine adopt EU standards on everything from food additives to copyright protection.

Many see the trade-agreement as a historic shift for Ukraine - away from Russia and towards the West.

David Stern reports from Kiev on how the deal could help businesses in the country.
