Breast cancer patients' recalled after inaccurate tests

Help

More than twenty Isle of Man breast cancer patients have been recalled for a "treatment review" after inaccuracies were uncovered in hospital tests.

The inaccuracies were uncovered in a series of hormone tests which determine what treatment patients should have.

Hospital medical director, Stephen Upsdell said: "We have tested over a hundred patients and we so far and we need to recall 22.

"We are taking every possible step to ensure patients are on the correct treatment."
