Union flag: 2000 people protest in Belfast City Centre
A police officer has been taken to hospital after being injured in clashes with loyalists in east Belfast.
Police have estimated that around 2000 people took part in a flag protest outside Belfast City Hall.
The protest lasted around one hour and passed off peacefully.
Afterwards there was trouble on the Newtownards Road.
