Uncertainty for Japanese firms as Tankan released

The Bank of Japan will be releasing its latest Tankan survey on Monday.

The Tankan survey is a gauge of business conditions at Japan's large manufacturing firms.

The data is expected to show weak corporate sentiment for the three months to September, and that view may continue into the rest of the year. Mariko Oi explains.
