Could Paul Ryan's plans fix US debt?
US Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney has chosen Paul Ryan as his running mate for the 2012 election.
Mr Ryan, who is currently chairman of the House Budget committee, is known as a "fiscal hawk" and has called for government spending to be slashed to the bone while also cutting taxes.
