London bought to standstill by Olympic lane taxi protest
Hundreds of black cab taxis have brought the centre of London to a standstill today in a protest over Olympic traffic lanes.
London 2012 organisers developed the lanes for officials, athletes and approved vehicles, and do not allow black cabs to use the roads.
Drivers believe they will lose business because they are not able to drive in the lanes.
Transport for London have called today's demonstration "completely irresponsible".
