Former Liberia President Charles Taylor will hear The Hague whether he has been found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Mr Taylor is accused of fuelling Sierra Leone's brutal civil war in the 1990s.
He denies all 11 charges including murder, rape, mutilations and the use of child soldiers.
The BBC's World Affairs correspondent Peter Biles reports.
