20 people a year die of carbon monoxide poisoning. The gas is tasteless, colourless and can't be smelt, it is caused by a variety of reasons but many homes don't have alarms to warn that it's there.
CO Angels is a campaign group made up of women who have lost family members through carbon monoxide poisoning. They want to get an extra 10 million alarms installed in homes by 2020. One member, Stacey Rodgers, came on BBC Breakfast to stress the need for carbon monoxide detectors in homes.
