Sir David Attenborough reveals his pet bushbabies
Sir David Attenborough has revealed he used to keep African bushbabies - or little night monkeys - as pets at home.
The veteran naturalist was speaking to BBC Breakfast ahead of a new television series in which he returns to Madagascar more than 50 years since his first visit.
Madagascar's split from Africa millions of years ago led bushbabies to evolve on the mainland while lemurs thrived on the island, now home to more than 50 species.
Madagascar: Island of Marvels begins at 2000GMT on Wednesday on BBC Two.
