Three in court over T in the Park attacks

T in the Park Police said the two injured men were found at the festival's campsite

Three men from Glasgow have appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of two people at the T in the Park music festival.

Two 20-year-old men from Fife were found with serious abdominal injuries on a walkway between the main arena and the campsite late on Sunday night.

Robert Lindsay, 23, John Dorfman, 22 and Joseph Lindsay, 25, each faced two charges of attempted murder.

Mr Dorfman was also charged with assault.

None of the men made any plea or declaration at the hearing at Perth Sheriff Court.

They were committed for further examination and released on bail.

The two injured men were taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after the incident at the festival in Balado, Kinross-shire.

One of the men has been discharged from hospital while the other has been moved out of the high-dependency ward into a normal ward.

His condition is described as being serious but stable, Tayside Police said.

Organisers said 85,000 people went to the music festival, which is now in its 17th year.
