Flypast to mark Battle of Britain anniversary

Help

Veterans from RAF Fighter Command have been taking part in a ceremony to mark 70 years since the Battle of Britain.

The service saw a flypast by a Spitfire and Lancaster Bomber from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The Spitfire involved was the oldest airworthy one in the world and the only surviving one to take part in the Battle of Britain.

Robert Hall reported from the scene as the flypast went overhead.
