Driver arrested over Kidlington cyclist's death

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following the death of a cyclist in Oxfordshire.

The crash happened on the A4620 Banbury Road near Thrupp, Kidlington, at about 0030 BST on Saturday.

The cyclist, an 18-year-old man from Kidlington, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 54-year-old driver from Kidlington was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving whilst under the influence of alcohol.
