The moment Rothbury gunman stand off ended

Footage has emerged of the moments before a stand-off between police and gunman Raoul Moat ended.

During heavy rain, armed officers - who are out of sight - can be heard shouting for him to put his gun down. Police dogs can also be heard.

Police have confirmed the fugitive gunman died after shooting himself during the stand-off.

He was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
