Celebrations for historic steamship the SS Great Britain

Help

The SS Great Britain was the world's first propeller-driven, iron-hulled, steamship.

But she had to be deliberately sunk in the Falkland Islands after being damaged in a storm.

To mark the 40th anniversary of the ship's return to Bristol, celebrations have been held showing off the restored ship.

Jon Kay reports.
