Pair arrested after hotel fire at Brackley Hatch bailed
No-one was hurt in the fire, which destroyed the building
Two men, arrested by detectives investigating a fire which destroyed a Premier Inn hotel in Northamptonshire, have released on police bail.
Firefighters battled to bring the blaze in the two-storey building at Brackley Hatch on the A43 under control after it started on Monday evening.
The hotel was evacuated after smoke was seen coming from the building.
A 36-year-old from Coventry and a 20-year-old from Leicester were arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of arson.
Inquiry continuesThey were released on police bail pending further inquiries.
The cause of the fire remains unknown and a joint fire service and police investigation is ongoing at the scene.
Ten crews from Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and the US base at RAF Croughton tackled the fire.
The 55 guests were taken to another hotel.
