Warwickshire nursery schools will remain open

Six Warwickshire nursery schools thought to have been under threat of closure are to remain open.

A consultation into the nurseries futures sparked concern that they were to shut.

But the county council has recommended that the six remain and be developed as centres of excellence.

Warwick, Whitnash, Kenilworth, Stockingford, Bedworth Heath and Atherstone were the affected nursery schools.
