Swine flu review by Dame Deirdre: 'Lessons to be learned'
An independent review, led by Dame Deirdre Hine, a former chief medical officer for Wales, said the UK handled the swine flu pandemic well but there were key lessons for the future.
It said that the contracts negotiated by the UK government for a swine flu vaccine should have had get-out clauses to protect taxpayers' money.
But the review praised the overall approach taken.
