Man charged over double stabbing in Dundee

A 25-year old man has been charged with attempted murder after two people were stabbed at a house in Dundee.

Police were called to the house in Glenconnor Drive in the Mid Craigie area at about 0400 BST.

They found a 39-year-old woman with stab wounds to her chest and a 21-year-old man with stab wounds to his legs and stomach.

The pair were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee however their injuries are not life threatening.

The arrested man is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday.
