Factory workers protest in China over pay and hours

China is experiencing a wave of strikes from factory employees who make components for everything from mobile phones to cars.

For years, China has relied on cheap labour to boost its economy and keep prices low for the goods we consume, but there appears to be a change demanded by the workers.

The Chinese government has banned reporting of the walk-outs but they have continued to spread.
