Dorset firefighters tackle three heath fires

Three heath fires in Dorset on Sunday are being treated as arson.

Six hundred square metres of heath was set alight on Durley Chine close to the Highcliffe Hotel in Bournemouth.

Firefighters were able to stop the fire, which began at about 2300 BST, before it reached hotels and beach huts nearby.

Crews also tackled two further fires close to the Queens Park Golf Club in Bournemouth and at Rossmore Leisure Centre in Poole.
