Girl's skull fractured in crash in Cheetham Hill

A three-year-old girl is in hospital with a fractured skull after she was knocked over in Manchester.

She was hit by a Toyota Yaris in Beechfield Street, Cheetham Hill, on Saturday evening.

A police spokesman said no arrests have been made and it is believed the young girl ran out in front of the vehicle.

She is currently in North Manchester General Hospital where she remains in a critical condition. The driver of the car was not injured.
