Thousands celebrate gay pride event in Mexico City

Thousands of people have marched through the streets of Mexico City as part of the annual gay pride event.

The Mexican capital is one of the first Latin American cities to allow gay marriages and its liberal attitudes are often at odds with those in Mexico's more conservative states.
