Inside a crumbling Afghan coal mine
Afghanistan's economy could be transformed within a decade if its mineral resources are properly exploited, according to the Afghan minister of mines.
The Kabul government thinks the country's mineral resources could be worth up to $3tn (£2tn).
Quentin Sommerville visited a remote coal mine in northern Afghanistan to show the difficulties in reaching the country's vast mineral reserves.
