Mobile phone companies introduce data download limits

O2 is the latest phone company to bring in a cap on data downloads as more people use their smartphones for video streaming and frequent internet use.

The company's 1GB monthly limit amounts to roughly 300 MP3 song downloads, but would disappear quickly for users who stream video on their handsets.
