Nicolas Sarkozy visits BBC on De Gaulle anniversary
French President Nicolas Sarkozy has visited the BBC's Broadcasting House to mark the 70th anniversary of General De Gaulle's wartime broadcasts from Britain.
During the visit Mr Sarkozy and his wife, Carla Bruni, went to the radio studio where the general famously urged his compatriots to resist Nazi occupation.
They also viewed a tapestry presented in thanks to the BBC by France after World War II.
