Public sector pension costs 'to double in five years'

There is growing pressure to rethink public sector pensions, with official figures suggesting their cost could double in the next few years.

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg said it was unfair to ask taxpayers to subsidise "gold-plated" public sector schemes.
