Captain Scott's Cardiff banquet send-off remembered
A hundred years ago Captain Robert Falcon Scott led his British Antarctic Expedition out of Cardiff on its ill-fated journey to the South Pole.
On the 13th June 1910, before leaving the city, Cptn Scott held an 11 course banquet for business men and dignitaries of Cardiff who had lent support to his expedition.
Every year members of the Captain Scott Society recreate that occasion at the Royal Hotel in Cardiff. Amy Quant went along to find out more.
