Rage Against the Machine perform free gig for fans

It was billed as the battle between manufactured pop and 'real music' in the race for the 2009 Christmas number one.

Rage Against the Machine triumphed against X-Factor winner Joe McElderry after a huge online campaign.

On Sunday, the American band played a free concert in London to say thank-you.
