Cable honours 'personal' decision
Business Secretary Vince Cable has said he does not believe the resignation of David Laws will disrupt government work.
He said it was sad news for an "exceptionally able" man, but that the coalition had "a new Chief Secretary, Danny Alexander... and the work will go on".
