Canal opens for waterway festival

Canal boat enthusiasts from around the UK are heading to south Wales for a chance to navigate along a previously disused section of water.

Three miles of canal and four locks have been restored to enable boats to use the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal for a waterways festival.

Chairman Chris Morgan told Bethan Rhys Roberts about the event on BBC Radio Wales.
