Blackpool is to get its own version of Monopoly, after the town's football club secured a place in the Premier League, it has been announced.

Winning Moves UK, which holds the licence to produce regional variations of the board game, had been considering producing a Blackpool game in 2013.

But it said the Seasiders' success against Cardiff at Wembley had prompted it to bring that date forward.

More than 30 Blackpool and Fylde landmarks will feature on the board.

The game will be available to buy from the autumn, the company said.
