PM: 'Government in national interest, not party interest"


The Queen has performed the state opening of Parliament for the 56th time, making economic growth and cutting the budget deficit the coalition government's main priority.

The Prime Minister, David Cameron, said he would not be held back by party ideology and would work in the interests of the nation.
