Lindsay Lohan ordered to wear alcohol-monitoring tag

Help

A US judge has ordered Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet.

The judge also refused a request by Lohan's lawyer to ease restrictions involving random drug and alcohol testing so the star could film a movie in Texas.

The Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor (Scram) bracelet works by sensing through the skin if a person has been drinking and sends the signal to a monitoring company.

The measures were ordered after Lohan failed to show up for a probation hearing relating to a 2007 drink driving case last week because she was stranded in France.
