Polish floods could spread to Germany

Help

Emergency teams in Poland are attempting to shore up river banks as the country continues to suffer its worst floods for decades.

Many thousands of people are still at risk of having their homes flooded after heavy rains caused rivers to overflow. A number of people are reported to have been killed as a result.

Southern areas are starting to recover but parts of Germany could now be at risk.

Dominic Kane reports.
