Kingston in 'state of emergency' over drug lord

Help

Kingston has been declared a state of emergency after American attempts to extradite a local drug lord led to violence in the streets of the Jamaican capital.

Supporters of Christopher 'Dudus' Coke are fighting to stop his extradition to the US on drug and gun running charges.

The state of emergency was declared after several police stations were attacked. At least two police officers have been killed in the unrest and six others wounded.

Matthew Price reports.
